Ofsted is the Office for Standards in Education, Children’s Services and Skills. Ofsted reports directly to Parliament and is independent and impartial. Ofsted inspects and regulates services which care for children and young people, and those providing education and skills for learners of all ages. You can find more information about Ofsted and what it does on the Ofsted website.
Ofsted carried out its last inspection of St Michael's Primary School and Nursery in July 2019 and found us to be Good in all areas. You can read a copy of the inspection report below and also on the Ofsted website.
Ofsted also provides Governors and members of the public with data through its 'Data Dashboard'. This provides a snapshot of performance in a school, college or other further education and skills providers. You can access Ofsted's Performance Measures Website by clicking here.

SHARE YOUR VIEWS THROUGH PARENT VIEW
Parents and carers can give their view of the school at any time throughout the school year and at the time of a school inspection using an online questionnaire called Parent View.
Parents/carers can register with an email address and a password at https://parentview.ofsted.gov.uk/ . Once your log in has been activated it only takes a couple of minutes to answer the 12 questions.
Your views are very important and will help inspectors to form a view of the school, helping us to know what is going well and what things need to be improved.
If you do not have a computer or an email address or if you would like help to use Parent View, please talk to a member of the office team who are always willing to help.
