The government has now announced that all school will close from the end of Friday 20th March until further notice.
This applies to all children except those children whose parents are 'key workers', have an EHC or are within the vulnerable Category and cannot make other arrangements for their children.
Who are the Key Workers?
Please see the PDF link below.
What is an EHC?
An education, health and care ( EHC ) plan is for children and young people aged up to 25 who need more support than is available through special educational needs support. EHC plans identify educational, health and social needs and set out the additional support to meet those needs.
Parents/Carers will know if their child has such a plan.
What is a vulnerable child?
Children who have a social worker include children in need, children who have a child protection plan and those who are looked after by the local authority.
Provision of Free School Meals?
If your child is entitled to Free School Meals we will provide a packed lunch for them each day, your child's packed lunch will be ready to collect from the school gate at 12.00 midday, each day. If you do not require a packed lunch on a particular day, we would be grateful if you could let us know by 9.00am.
The school will advise parents when it will be fully open for all children. This decision will be made by the government.
