We are situated on the southern edge of Colchester, having our own playing fields, along with a fantastic playground, equipped with everything that you can think of, even a karaoke machine! The school is full of colourful, interactive classrooms and is well resourced throughout. We are also very lucky to have a Nursery within the school, which can take up to 26 children each morning . We run Parent and Toddler sessions every Wednesday am and Thurdays am and pm.
We aim to provide children with a balanced, exciting curriculum. As part of the curriculum we encourage children to adopt a healthy lifestyle and in December 2007 we achieved National Healthy School Status.
We are proud of our school and everyone within it. Children are always encouraged to play a part in school improvement as recognised in our recent Ofsted inspection ( March 2011 ).
Pupils have a strong voice in school improvement through their work in the school council and support each other well through their work as playleaders.
