Ofsted is the Office for Standards in Education, Children’s Services and Skills. Ofsted reports directly to Parliament and is independent and impartial. Ofsted inspects and regulates services which care for children and young people, and those providing education and skills for learners of all ages.  You can find more information about Ofsted and what it does on the Ofsted website.

Ofsted carried out its last inspection of St Michael's Primary School and Nursery in July 2015 and found us to be Good in all areas.  You can read a copy of the inspection report below and also on the Ofsted website.

Ofsted also provides Governors and members of the public with data through its 'Data Dashboard'.  This provides a snapshot of performance in a school, college or other further education and skills providers.  You can access Ofsted's Data Dashboard by clicking here.
